Hey there,

I’m back! The past two months have been pretty eventful. On top of transferring my blog from Wix to WordPress, I’ve also finished my BA and completed the first version of Sky Cell. Speaking of Sky Cell, I’ll be uploading an updated version with unique character sprites and portraits to the new ThirdMedium itch.io page sometime this weekend. After that, I’ll be back to my usual monthly/bi-monthly posting; as much as I want to continue experimenting with different kinds of game development (and I plan to do so), I also want to continue yapping about the games I play and love. I have a few new posts planned already, including a character feature on Arthur Morgan, a look at emergent narratives in different kinds of multiplayer games, and a video essay on Drakengard 3 in honour of its 10th anniversary. I can’t wait to share all that and more with you this new year.
